A Light of Hope by Alila Bangsar

One of the most important parts of Alila hotels' DNA is our commitment and compassion toward local communities. At Alila Bangsar, we care for the wellbeing of our colleagues, guests, owners and communities, especially during these challenging times.

This year, Alila Bangsar collaborates with Havan Clothing to drive The Havan Program, where we join to support its efforts to contribute to 60 children from four shelter homes. We share a similar belief that educating our children today for a better future should not be limited to only basic education systems, especially to underprivileged youth. Educating our children on the importance of empathy, respect, self-awareness and cultivating communication skills to instil powerful Emotional Intelligence (EQ) values could bring a greater impact to these future leaders instead of just focusing on the basics.

As the season of joy is near, we are inviting all our guests to participate in this program offering “a light of hope” to support the underprivileged children with EQ classes, a way to encourage and acknowledge their talent, where each child’s creativity is expressed in their artwork as their own masterpiece and produced by Havan Clothing.

For every room booked with Alila Bangsar directly, a specially designed T-shirt (the masterpiece) will be provided as a gift to our guests. A contribution will be made to The Havan Program for each room booked. “A light of hope” by Alila Bangsar will commence for the stay period from 20 December 2021 to 2 January 2022.
